Well, it happens to most everyone that plays TT. We start with one army. Strip it down and repaint it. Start another. Eventually, we'll get the urge to sell the other army. Which is what I'm planning on doing. My friend wishes to start getting into TT seriously and I am focused on my Eldar more than anything right now [I just ordered the new FW avatar]. So I've offered to sell my army for a reasonable price. Phase out forever....:*(. BUT! I'll have moolah to revamp my Eldar with new models, varnish, and some other goodies.... As to what those goodies are, merely wait and see. Plus, I've got someone else to play 40k with that I see daily.
Freakin' Sweet!
Note: This deal is not finalized and will not be for some time...

Dlair/ThorH tournament
Well, the list I posted below actually had a vyper (shuriken cannon/star cannon) and farseer didn't have a ghosthelm. I was lazy and didn't repaint/reassemble my avatar. Honestly, it straight up sucked. Our team (only 3 people, the son of one of the Thor's guys had to join us last minute) played for fun, using balanced lists. Thor's played to win. Their armies were maxed infantry (240 guard [150 conscripts, independent commissars], 84 marines, 84 marines) and a Min/Max 10 assault cannon marine army. Was not very fun at all. It was impossible to best the sheer number, despite the amazing firepower I could pump out. The only person I actually made a dent in was the Min/Max army by killing 2 preds, 6 speeders, one dread, and a few rhinos.
I really dislike thors. I refuse to return to their store unless some unforseen situation arises.
On the flipside, Brian [our event manager] has introduced me into Warmachine. I am intrigued...we'll see where that goes!
