So my Eldar army (which I got into 40k with) is painted horribly. I had to spray them with a black primer to start over....The end result was they then turned out better. It was the next level in painting for me. (First being when I didn't use Citadel Paints, then that, and lastly my Necrons). Thusly, I was asking some friends about what they used to strip models.
I was recommended to using Brake Fluid. Toxic. Potentially ruining models if left in too long.
Then Shawn (Mr. Unbeatable Tyranid List! : D) told me about his stripper.
Her name: Green, Simple.
It's a household cleaner, easy to use and notable for its' green tint. Just leave models (metal OR plastic, it cleans both!) in it over night and then use warm water and an old toothbrush to remove excess paint from them. The best part: NON-TOXIC.
